Welcome to St Wulfram’s at Grantham House.
Grantham House in Castlegate is our new resource centre. Leased to St Wulfram’s by the National Trust since December 2020, the house offers us vital extra space, indoors and outside, directly opposite the church. This development is allowing us to increase the range of activities and services for our community, and to resource the deanery and wider diocese with learning and networking opportunities.
In Grantham House, you will find the Parish Office, offices for the clergy and staff team, rehearsal space for our choirs, meeting rooms (that can be hired by outside groups), and much else.
Also at Grantham House, we run a range of wellbeing activities under the umbrella of the ‘Wulfram Centre for Wholeness & Wellbeing’ (currently funded by grants from the Allchurches Trust ‘Hope Beyond’ scheme, the Evan Cornish Grassroots Fund, the Diocese of Lincoln Transformation Fund and Shine Lincolnshire). Our Artist in Residence runs family workshops in the school holidays. Come along and enjoy learning new skills in inspirational surroundings. Watch this space for information about special open days and Wulfram Centre activities in the autumn 2021.
There will also be a programme of major events on the Grantham House site. The Grantham Vintage Festival will take place from 30 April to 2 May 2022, when the grounds of Grantham House will come alive to celebrate the spirit of early 20th century Britain with period and vintage displays and activities, showcasing life from the 1920s, through the War Years, to the 1950s.
